This is the desktop build that finishes the job. Add a task from Home. Download the file you just attached. Leave a Doc without a reload. Open App Center for real. Read a conversation in the order it was written.
Home and checklists that actually create
Home Add task writes the row in that status section and keeps it after you reopen. No more Invalid task input.
On a task, + Add item on the checklist creates the unchecked row, updates the counter, and persists. Same create path that already worked in Spaces — Home and the checklist now use it too.
Attachments you can get back
Upload still works. Download no longer dies with Failed to fetch in the desktop window.
The file streams through the signed API and opens the OS save dialog. You get the bytes back. Delete still works after.
Docs you can leave — softly
Opening a Space Doc no longer freezes the shell. Back, All docs, and the rail leave the document with a normal in-app navigation. No full window reload. Escape still restores the UI.
The document stays a document. The rest of the app stays the app.
App Center that opens
Click Slack — or any real connector. The card opens the integration page and stays usable. Coming-soon badges remain for things that are not ready. A real connector is never a dead tile.
Messenger that reads in order
Own and peer bubbles keep their chrome. Name, time, and body sit in one column: name, then time, then the message. Yours on the right. Theirs on the left. No more “2:30 You” read as a reversed line.
Planner, priority, and Settings
Still true from the last train, and still true here:
- Planner Week all-day chips match Day — same stack, same gap.
- No priority clears and saves. No Could not save.
- Planner Month create Event / Task works.
- Settings scroll. The page is not a trapped pane.
Desktop ships as desktop-v0.9-beta.12. iOS keeps its own ios-v* train. One beta number, separate platforms.
The Dock, taskbar, and installer use the same StarkUp mark as the website tab icon.
What to try
- Home → Add task, then open the task and + Add item on the checklist. Reopen. Both rows should still be there.
- Attach a file, then download it. Save dialog. No Failed to fetch.
- Open a Space Doc. Leave with Back, All docs, or the rail. No freeze. No full reload.
- App Center → Slack (or another real connector). The integration page should open.
- Messages — send one, read a reply. Name, then time, then body. Yours right, theirs left.
- Planner → Week vs Day all-day chips. Priority → No priority. Settings — scroll the page.
